With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle Beard of Covington, Tennessee, who passed away on February 2, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Beard and Margie Beard; his siblings, Rickey Beard, Charlotte Jones and Daphne Weir; and his granddaughter Emma Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Carol "Sam" Beard; his daughter Melony Fletcher (Jeff) of Covington; his stepdaughters, LeAnne Turner of Covington and Tracy Terry of Covington; and his brother Glenn Beard (Carla) of Munford. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
