In loving memory of Nyoka Maxwell of Covington, Tennessee, who departed this world on October 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Nyoka leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ernest and Jettie Mae Rushing Searcy; and her siblings, Howard Searcy, Dora Carver and Mary Sue Searcy.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Hubbard Byrd (Dickey), Martha Jo Stone, Billy Wayne Hubbard and Timothy Carl Hubbard; and her sisters, Shirley Hopper, Bernice Koepell and Evelyn Lanham. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Covington Funeral Home (3499 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the R. H. Munford Cemetery.
