She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Holcomb and Unis Holcomb; her son Benny Cook; her son-in-law Steve Ray; and her siblings, Robert Holcomb Jr., Buddy Holcomb, James Holcomb and Ruth Holcomb.
She is survived by: her husband Ruben "Bucky" Barnes; her children, Michael Cook (Becca), Paul Cook (Shelly), Jeanie Cook and Betty Ray; and her siblings, Richard Holcomb, Mary Dubose, Kathy Holcomb and Sharon Murray. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.
