He is survived by: his wife Connie Cates; his daughters, Emma Stafford (Jimmy) of Covington and Erica Cave (Chris) of Covington; his brother Mike Cates (Martha) of Burlison; his grandchildren, Maddie Stafford, Katie Stafford, Caleb Jones (Courtney) and Lillian Cave; his great grandchildren, Zane Stafford and Lacie Fay Jones; and his sisters-in-law, Sylvia Cates and Janet Greggs.
