He was predeceased by: his parents, George Otis McDivitt and Madaline Allen McDivitt; and his brothers, J. D. and Johnny McDivitt. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Brammer McDivitt; his children, Jason McDivitt (Jennifer), Bruce McDivitt (Julie), Stephanie McGee (Matthew), Lisa Junior (Scotty) and Jessica Fleming; his stepdaughters, Belynda Dwyre (Tim) and Jennifer Bowers (Kelly); and his siblings, Gail Presley, Danny (Dale), Nicky (Stephanie) and Jackie McDivitt. He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and The Gary Sinise Foundation in memory of Ricky McDivitt.
