Sherry Sue Cody Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Sue Cody of Covington, Tennessee, who passed away on May 7, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Sherry Sue shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sherry Sue farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryson Cody and Lillian Cody; her sister JoAnn Cody Turner; her nephew Ricky Dale Howard; and her great-nephew Justin Ryan Howard.

She is survived by: her sister Jean Cody Howard of Covington, TN.; and her nieces and nephews, Jeanie Turnbow of Gibson, Louan Perry (Robert) of Bardwell, Tim Howard (Jackie) of Covington and Danny Turner (Tonya) of Burlison.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Sherry Sue Cody's memory to Garland Baptist Church or Tipton County Carl Perkins Center.
