He is survived by: his wife Christie Hill-Smith; his children, Tommy Oliver Smith (Rebecca), David Anthony Smith (Kayla), Michael Clinton Irick (Courtney) and Meagan Hill Jones (Yannick); his parents, Bonnie Spence and Tommy Ed Smith (Teresa); his siblings, Chuck Smith, Justin Smith (Sam) and Hazel Lowrance; and his grandchildren, Sophia, Zachary and John Oliver.
