She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude B. Thompson and Nettie Stribling Thompson of Covington; her former husband Holloway Billings; her husband Erb C. Lowery; her daughter Jane L. Ward; her son-in-law Chuck Overton; her stepsons, John T. Billings and Phillip Billings (Kathy); and her siblings, Homer, J. B., Edward Thompson, Geneva Selph, Virginia Meyer, Mary Francis Sanders and Rubye Crowder.
She is survived by: her daughter Ann L. Overton; her children-in-law, June Billings and Jim Ward; her grandchildren, Charlie Overton (Melanie), Joli Smith, Shawn Greene, Holli Rose (Hunter) and Heath Billings (Mandy); and her great grandchildren, Anna Overton, Dustin Fowler, Dillon Koonce (Hollie), Autumn Garcia, Kelsey Smith (Austin), Katelyn Greene, Korey Greene, Brinley Wilkins, Huntley Rose, Kathleen Rose, Maddie Rose and Aubrey Billings. She is also survived by 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Maley-Yabrough Funeral Home (1701 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
