He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Sue Lane; his wife Delphine Lane (Ingram); his father Oliver P. Lane; and his brother Oliver Marlin Lane. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Gwin Ingram; his friend Rev. Dwayne A. Hood; and his godchildren, Philip E. Hood, Jeanne M. Smith and Robyn L. Bray.
