He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Hartsfield and Anna Miller Hartsfield; and his siblings, Martha Kellum, Glenda Burns and Jerry Hartsfield.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Hartsfield; his children, Wade Hartsfield, Sandy Will (David), Melissa McCaig (Bobby) and Kelly Rouse (Nick); his brothers, Kenneth Hartsfield and Chris Hartsfield; and his grandchildren, Heather Widdoes, Amber Widdoes, Joshua Widdoes, Sarah Branch, Shania Higgins, Tristan Lovell, Kayleigh Rogers, Kolton Lovell and Kayden Lovell. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the National Kidney Foundation or Smyrna Baptist Church of Burlison, TN.
