He was predeceased by: his parent Jerry William Nelson; his former wife Peggy Ann Nelson (Wells); and his siblings-in-law, Drexal T. Holt and Angie Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Betty Jo Nelson (Jones); his wife Tina Nelson; his children, Kim Mankin (Ben), Lloyd Gross (Lisa), Roy Brandon Gross and William Daniel Sunderland (Jamie); his grandchildren, John Mankin, Christopher Gross, Jacob Gross and Lucy Pearl Sunderland; and his siblings, Debbie Matthews (Jeff), Arnold Nelson and Dennie Nelson (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
