We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2023, at the age of 87, Kenneth W. Cates of Cowan, Tennessee, born in Franklin, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Martin and Odessa Cates Sr. (Pittman); his siblings, Charles Cates Sr., John Cates Jr., Irene Miller and Barbara Wattenbarger; and his son Joe Ross.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Edens Cates; and his daughter Pruda May (Mo). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
