He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Clay and Peggy Jo Cook Sr. (Holt); his grandparents, Steve Carter, Mary Cook Sr. (Upton), Edward and Bessie Holt (Ragsdale); and his brothers-in-law, David Leggitt Sr. and James Cadwell.
He is survived by: his wife Candy Cook; his children, Dillon Harris, Kyle Harris, Lindsey Harris (Hillary Worley), Faith Ann Cook (Josiah Shattuck), Kaila Cook and Matthew Cook; his grandchildren, Brycen Harris, Ryleigh Harris, Hayden Harris and Dallas Harris; his siblings, Donna Leggitt, Clay Cook (Eileen) and Tracy Wilken (Bull); his parents-in-law, Pat and Don Cadwell; and his nieces and nephews, Peggy Reynolds (Toby), Monica Cook, Ciera Davis (Keith), Veronica Cook, David Leggitt (Miranda), Willie Cook and Chris Cook.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moore Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
