He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Flynn and Ollie Smith Flynn; his daughters, Kendra Flynn and Tamara Flynn; and his siblings, Boyd Flynn, Patricia Crabtree, William Basil Flynn and Clarence Everett Gannon.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Gannon Flynn; his children, Benny Flynn Jr., Bonita Flynn and Calvin Flynn; his stepdaughters, Crystal Lynn Houser, Angela Grace Houser, Cassandra Naomi Houser and Tomalena Houser Noble; his siblings, Boyce Ottinger, Bonnie Sherrill, Robert Flynn and Susan Pedigo; his close friends, Willie Greg Gannon and Jesse Charles Gannon; and his grandchildren, Trinity Horst, Matrix, Maddox and Ian Larson. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Crossville Memorial Funeral Home (2653 N Main St, Crossville, TN 38557). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodland Cemetery (281 Dayton Ave, Xenia, OH 45385).
