She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl C. Cook and Mabel M. Sherrill Cook; and her brother Robert Lynn Cook. She is survived by: her former husband James Yates of Crossville, TN; her daughter Leah Winstead (Daniel) of Crossville, TN; her siblings, JC Cook of Crossville, TN and Ann McCullough of Mt. Juliet, TN; her grandchildren, Katarina Kiley, James Miley, Starr Winstead and Haley Begley; her great grandchildren, Eben, Zoey, Jessica, Zachery, Emmett, Kaison and Heather; her stepgrandchildren, Alicia and CJ; and her caregiver Kim Kirby of Crossville, TN..
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Hood Funeral Home (2371 US-127, Crossville, TN 38555).
