He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pugh and Marjorie Pugh (Pitts); and his brother Kobin Pugh. He is survived by: his children, Heather Pugh of Crossville, TN and Jason Pugh of Woodberry, TN; his stepdaughter Amy Kingston of Crossville, TN; his siblings, John Pugh (Patti) of Charlotte, TN, Sandra Lemmonds of Mt. Juliet and Melissa Johnson (Brent) of Jackson, TN.; his grandchildren, Brylin and Kobin Pugh; and the mother of his children Deborah Toy (James).
