John Eldridge Cannon Obituary

We announce the death of John Eldridge Cannon (Crossville, Tennessee), who passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 75. John Eldridge will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Cannon and Verda Cannon (Peg); and his brother Andrew Michael Cannon (Perian Howe Cannon). He is survived by: his wife Michelle Spivey Cannon; his children, Sarah, Zachary (Brittany) and Samantha (James); his grandchildren, AJ, Maya, Henry, Chase, Xiomara, Gwendolyn and Jacob; his siblings, Jennifer, Patrick and Barbara; his stepson Trevor Huffaker (Lori); and his grandsons, Austin and Holton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Standing Tall Life Skills Program in his name.
