He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hilliard and Selma Hilliard; his daughter Jammie Walters; his brother Larry Hilliard; and his sister-in-law Allie Hilliard.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann; his daughters, Julie Gemmel (Mike) and Jodi Williams; his stepchildren, Brian (Hilary) of Georgia, Todd (Jennifer) of Georgia and Kerri Lyn of Georgia; and his siblings, Michael Hilliard (Carrie), Bonnie Tolen (Jim) and Barbara Smith (Karl).
