With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John S. Davis in Crossville, Tennessee, born in Richmond, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stanley and Doris Davis; and his sister Ruth Ann Davis-Marsh. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Davis; his sister Judy Rose; his children, Scott Davis (Beth), Diane Zink (Dennis) and Brenda Younker (Dave); his grandchildren, Emma Zink, Caitlin Sloan (Steve), Maggie Svitana (Jeremy), Michael Younker, Hannah Younker, Drew Younker and Bailey Tollett (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Claire, Owen, Lila Svitana, Tessa Holbrook, Oliver and Eloise Sloan.

In lieu of flowers and to honor John's lifelong passion for aviation, contributions can be made to the Cumberland County High School Aviation program, which supports aspiring young pilots.
