He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Mitchell and Sherdie Kemmer Mitchell; his siblings, Herman Jr. (Doris), Bob Mitchell and Janie Kirby; and his nephew Brier Wightman.
He is survived by: his significant other Martha Mantooth; his siblings, Bertha England (Bob), David (Ginger), Charlie (Jeri) and Jym Mitchell; and his sisters-in-law, Carol and Vickie.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Crossville Memorial Funeral Home (2653 N Main St, Crossville, TN 38555).
