He is survived by: his wife Sandra Galyen Simmons; his children, Ken Simmons (Naomi) of Gainesville, FL, Deb Miles (Cleve) of Florence, AL, Bob Simmons (Mary) of Anderson, SC and Rick Simmons (Joy) of Hazel Green, AL; his stepchildren, Lisa McClain (Kenny) of Rutledge, TN, Tim Bonebrake of Sullivan, IL and Tom Bonebrake (Patty) of Portland, TN; his sister Bonnie Bowers of Pinson, AL; his grandchildren, Jeb Miles (Kristy), Josh Miles (Melissa), Rubyejean Lupo (Michael), Kelly Kozuba and Eddie Kozuba (Heather); and his great grandchildren, Jackson Miles, Lynlee Miles, River Miles, Gunner Miles, Caleb Strickland, Edwin Kozuba, Noah Rigdon and Tessa Rigdon. He is also survived by eight step great-grandchildren.
