He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Phillips and Ruth Masters Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Phillips; his children, Toshia Phillips, Roger Phillips (Valerie Kilgore), Jesse Phillips (Tiffany) and Chris Phillips (Katie); and his stepchildren, Crystal Hale (Bobby) and Greg Horn. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
