He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank VanWinkle and Vesta Bolin VanWinkle; and his siblings, Creed Bolin, Lester VanWinkle, William VanWinkle, Arlin VanWinkle, Dollie Pippin, Hassie Thompson, Martha Beaty, Pauline Beaty, Stella Davis, Thelma Bolles, Alma Downs and Mildred Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Maria VanWinkle of Crossville, TN, Johnny VanWinkle (Kelly) of Crossville, TN and Corey VanWinkle (Jacqueline) of Crossville, TN; his siblings, Charles VanWinkle (Kathy) of Crossville, TN, Phillip VanWinkle (Donna) of Crossville, TN and Lola Breeding of Crossville, TN; and his grandchildren, Stephen VanWinkle, Mabel VanWinkle, Kurtis VanWinkle, Anthony VanWinkle, Dalton VanWinkle, Natalie Lehrer, Parker Lehrer and Phoebe VanWinkle.
The family has respectfully asked that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Hood Funeral Home towards funeral expenses.
