In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sarah had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Sarah may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband R. W. Ferguson; and her parents, James McClure and Laura McClure. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Moore Matthews, Michael Ray Ferguson, Darrell Carter Ferguson and Jamie Christopher Ferguson (Carla Ferguson). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 26 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (715 Morgan Ave NE, Harriman, TN 37748). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Roane Memorial Gardens (1400 N Gateway Ave, Rockwood, TN 37854).
