He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Hyder and Kathleen Hyder; his birth parents, William R. Shuburg and Reba Winningham Shuburg; his son William Stuart Shuburg; his friend Elizabeth Shuburg (Betty); and his siblings, Willard Shuburg and Irene Shuburg Roy.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathryn Shuburg Saltkill (Kevin Saltkill) of Clinton, TN; his granddaughter Kassandra Looschen-Pribanich (Steven Alex Pribanich) of Huntington, WV; his sisters, Joanne Matheny of Crossville, TN and Wilma Hager (Dorris) of Old Hickory, TN; his nieces and nephews, Gordon L. Houston (Sandy), Scott Houston (Carlotta), Lisa Wood (Lowell) and Laura Simmons (Ray); and his friends, Bobby and Pat Sherrill.
