It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobby Jones of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Bobby may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bobby touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Jones and Betty Mullins. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Jones; his children, Robby Jones and Betty Hatcher (John); and his siblings, Enoch Jones, Otis Jones, Edna Fuson and Alene Collins. He is also survived by two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, his friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountainview Cemetery.
