It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carl R. Short of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Short and Ruby Short; and his sister Linda Hazelwood. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Short; his son Kyle Short (Roxanna); his grandson Chad Hutson (Frannie); his great grandchildren, Alaina, Elisha and Elleigh; and his siblings, Randle Short (Joyce), DeVauda Mullins (Dana), Ruby Parker (James), Wanda Shackleford, Bartie Sampson (WK) and Roberta Arnett. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
