In the vast expanse of eternity, Joyce shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joyce farewell, we carry with us the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding us through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by : her husband James Michael Thomas; her son James Michael Thomas, Jr.; her parents, Malcolm Barr and Ruby Barr; and her brother Malcolm "Joe" Barr, Jr..

She is survived by : her nieces, Lauren Combs (Michael) of New Market and Tiffany Williams of Rutledge; and her great-niece Paige Williams.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farrar Funeral Home - Dandridge (162 E Meeting St, Dandridge, TN 37725).
