She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Hance and Mary Ann Strange Hance; and her siblings, Ruth Hinton, George "Buck" Hance, Jack Hance and Jane Hutton.
She is survived by: her sisters, Gladys Poe, Jean Cureton (Kenneth), Shirley Hartsell (Jerry) and Kaye Teele (Dana); her caregiver Mary Kennedy; Steve James. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the Hills Union Cemetery Fund, 2383 Hills Chapel Rd., Dandridge, TN 37725.
