She is survived by: her children, Eric Layman of Dandridge and Marilyn Collins (Pigeon Forge); her brother William Taft James, Jr. of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn Parton, Heather Parton, Samuel Collins and Summer Layman Young; her great grandchildren, Jackson Bush, Carver and Archie Young; and her close friend Pee Wee Yates.
