She was predeceased by: her husband Boyd Ailey; her parents, Treeva Haskel Riley and Miney O'Neil Newman Riley; and her siblings, Kathleen Edmonds, Helen Strange, Betty Jean White, Cleophas Riley and John T. Riley.

She is survived by: her children, Boyd Shane Ailey (Jennifer) and Laura Hill (Bob); her grandchildren, Chad Zimmer (Rachel), Payton Spencer (Amanda) and Abigail Ailey; her great grandchildren, Grace Mabe, Daniel Zimmer and CJ Spencer; her caregivers, April, Melinda, Jada and Jefferson Park; Paula, John Brock and Tennova North Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Nina Baptist Church.
