She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Clarence Rose and Eva Benson Rose; her siblings, Jimmy Wilson Rose and Jean "Bobbie" Matthews; her son Jeffrey Merritt; and her grandchild Kyle Merritt.
She is survived by: her sister Peggy Maples; her son Randal Merritt (Melissa); and her grandchildren, Spencer Merritt, Emily Whillock, Kaylee Urbaneak, Hannah Merritt, Isabell Merritt and Grayson Merritt. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
