He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Henlsey and Susie Sisk Owens; and his brothers, Jerry Darrell Hensley and Bobby Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Hensley; his daughter Brittany Hensley; and his sister Diane Askew (Geneva Hensley). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The lying in state was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Farrar Funeral Home (162 E Meeting St, Dandridge, TN 37725). A graveside service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hills Union Cemetery (2383 Hills Chapel Rd, Dandridge, TN 37725).
