With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Adair McElynn of Dayton, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Reed and Melvina Smith Reed; her husband Robert "Bob" McElynn; her brother Ronald Phillips; and her daughter Teresa Wooden Brunson.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Wooden Reynolds of Athens, TN and Trevor Wooden (Cindy) of Dayton, TN; her grandchildren, Shane Reynolds of Athens, TN, Justin Brunson (Courtney) of Atlanta, GA, Marty Gates (Justin) of Canton, GA, Chandra Smith (Aaron) of Dayton, TN., Tyler Wooden (Shae) of Dayton, TN. and Trenton Wooden of Dayton, TN.; and her siblings, Charlotte Weller, Nathan Reed (Nina) of Dayton, TN and Almedda Mullins of Chattanooga, TN.. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home (1670 Market St, Dayton, TN 37321). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home (1670 Market St, Dayton, TN 37321).
