He is survived by: his wife Edna Fay May (Morgan) of Dayton; his daughters, Linda Cook of Dayton and Teresa Leffew of Dayton; his grandsons, Michael Aaron Brown of Dayton, Timothy Wayne Cook of Charlotte and Steven Tyler Cook of Jacksonville, Florida; his great grandchild Matthew Wyatt Brown; and his brothers, David May (Pam) of Soddy-Daisy and Eugene Smith (Mary) of Tulsa, Oklahoma..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vanderwall Funeral Home, Inc. (164 Maple St, Dayton, TN 37321). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Rhea Memory Gardens (24. N 85°02'W, 3527 TN-29, Dayton, TN 37321).
