We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2024, at the age of 79, Cordell Yates of Dayton, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Yates and Lucille Harris Yates; his siblings, Edna Mae Yates, Norma Jean Fraley and Bobby Ray Yates; his siblings-in-law, Lowell Perry and Shirley Yates; and his son-in-law Keith Norton.

He is survived by : his children, Donna Cottle (John) and Randy Yates (Fawn); his grandsons, Zack and Zane Norton; his sisters, Joyce Perry and Ruth Cook (Morgan); his brother-in-law Malcolm Fraley; and his close friend Sandy Faile of Cleveland, TN.. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, Inc. (1670 Market St, Dayton, TN 37321-1130). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
