He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Farnsworth and Eula Farnsworth (Hicks); his former wife Rose Mary Farnsworth (Jewell); and his sister Ellen Farnsworth. He is survived by: his wife Jane Ellen Farnsworth (Hodges) of Dayton; his sons, William Farnsworth (Missy) and Donald Farnsworth; his siblings, Rose Mary Farnsworth of Dayton Mountain and Frank Farnsworth (Mary) of Soddy Daisy; and his granddaughters, Meredith, Savannah and Caitlyn Farnsworth.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ogden Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Grace Bible Church (2809 Old Washington Hwy, Dayton, TN 37321). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grace Bible Church in Edwin's honor.
