We bid farewell to Helen Cox of Dayton, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 24, 2026 at the age of 99. Helen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Erastus Alexander and Mary Anna Northrup Powell; her husbands, Athel Lee Frederick and Hugh Cox; her son Carl Stanley Frederick; and her siblings, Joseph Franklin Powell, Grady Harris Powell, Carl Lewis Powell, Charles Luther Powell, Howard Grant Powell, Slymon John Powell, Myrtle Lucille Powell and Sibyl Irene Powell.
She is survived by: her son Ronald Frederick (Melba); her grandchildren, Athel Frederick and Kelci Slagle (Jay); and her great grandchildren, Lily Slagle and Lucy Slagle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Helen's name to Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes.
