He is survived by: his parents, Jackson Day Abel, Sr. and Brenda Evelyn Abel (Kelley); his sister Jacinda Trent (Scott) of Rogersville; and his sibling's children, Collin Trent, Kinsey Huner (Seth) of Spring Hill, Morgan Trent of Rogersville and Kinley Trent of Rogersville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jay's name may be made to the Rhea County High School baseball team.
