He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Powell and Nellie Elizabeth Adams Powell Sr.; and his wife Jo Ann Standifer Powell. He is survived by: his children, Ann Scoggins of Spring City, Estel Powell of Garland and Carol Hatela (David) of Blue Springs, MO; and his siblings, Darian Powell of England and Leonard Powell Jr. of Hemet, CA. He is also survived by four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
