He is survived by: his daughter Meredith Kate Mickel; the mother of his child Catherine Morgan; his siblings, Joey Mickel and Debra Chamberlain (Bill); and his nieces and nephews, Kenneth Mickel (Nancy), Shaun Mickel, Chris Mickel (Tammi), Jessica Jolley (Seth) and Tanika Mickel.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vanderwall Funeral Home (164 Maple St, Dayton, TN 37321). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the Rhea Memory Gardens.
