He is survived by: his wife Sara Rose Bunn Tyler; his sister Beth Tyler; and his brother-in-law Ray Bunn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home (1670 Market St, Dayton, TN 37321). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at the Buttram Cemetery (192 Pine Crest Dr, Dayton, TN 37321).
