It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olavene Roberts of Dayton, Tennessee, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Olavene departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Olavene. Though Olavene may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Crave and Versie Thurman Swafford; her siblings, Grady Swafford, Phara Roberts, Alene Roberts and Sue Smith; and her grandson Marty Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Roberts and Wilma Gossett (Eddie); and her sister Delorse Case. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; two great-great-great grandchildren.
