It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Maynor of Dayton, Tennessee, who passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dugan and Junnie Brandon Maynor; and his brothers, John T. "Sonny" Maynor and Roy Lee Maynor. He is survived by: his wife Doris Maynor; his daughters, Ramona Travis (Brent) and Michelle Solomon (Tom); his stepson Kevin Aikman (Tiffany); his sister Betty Jo McDonald; and his grandson Trent Solomon (Madison).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, Inc. (1670 Market St, Dayton, TN 37321-1130). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home (1670 Market St, Dayton, TN 37321-1130).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
