He is survived by: his wife Donna Whitfield Simmons; his sons, Dylan Simmons (Mallory), Chris Simmons, Kevin Whitfield (Jaime) and Gabe Whitfield (Kate); his grandchildren, Keeley, Lucas Simmons, Drey Whitfield (Auburn), Aiden Raichl, Harrison Whitfield, Andrew Judd, Haley Judd and Jonah Smith; his great grandchildren, Willow Whitfield and Oakleigh Whitfield; his sisters, Martha, Carole and Linda Sue Simmons; his sister-in-law Eva Hickman; his nephews, David, Jeff Hekking and Jonathan Bowers; and his niece Alyssa Runyeon.
