He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore May and Agnes Hodge May; his siblings, Ben, Bill, Donnie Mac, Terry, Ronnie May, Edith Presley, Effie Ward and Dordy Blevins; and his grandchildren, Stormy Haston and Dave Man Adcock.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie May; his former wife Ruby Frazier; his children, Teresa Matherley (Dean), Nanette May, Lora May, Rusty Caraway (Kelly), Eric Caraway (Ruby), Erica Roach (Kent), Dakota Caraway (Amanda) and Jonathan Caraway; and his grandchildren, Tedra DeAlba (Johnny), Darrin May, Caleb Matherley (Rachel), Asya May, Jenny, Jordan Knox and Brysen Caraway. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
