He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Garrison and Mary Catherine Garrison; and his stepfather Harvey Clinton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hodge Garrison; his children, Lisa McClellan, Greg Garrison (Wiola), Johnathan Garrison, Jason Garrison (Jennifer), Kim Walker and Crystal Vest (Paul); and his siblings, Shirley Dorsey (Howard Thickman) and Donald Garrison (Brenda). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
