Nelson (Barry) of California and Candace McBride of Chattanooga, Tennessee.; her siblings, Helen Steward of California, Stanley Swafford (Bobbie) of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Sherry Simmons of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Wanda Thurman (Richard) of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Christine Johnson (Manzell) of Bakewell, Tennessee, Debra Smith (Robert) of Bakewell, Tennessee, Kirkland Swafford (Patsy) of California, Tamera Banks (Alonzo) of Dayton, Tennessee and Latonia Davenport (Mortimer) of Nashville; her sister-in-law Linda Swafford of Bakewell; and her grandchildren, Nina, Myisha, Jamaal, Vivian, Kristopher, Kayla, Quinci, Justin, Kylin, Jamiah, Kameron and Aesha. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
