He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Cupp Sloan; and his brother Jessie Hatcher. He is survived by: his wife Sara Cupp; his children, Arlina Young of Decatur and Theresa Moree (Cliff) of Cohutta; his grandchildren, Daniel Moree (Amber) of Cohutta, GA, Hallie Godsey (Christian) and James Finley (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Axton Powell, James Finley "Boogie" IV, Kayden Arley Finley, Shaianne Stanley (Kenneth) and Elijah Reece; and his sister Molly Edwards (Larry) of Chatsworth, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other extended family, and a host of friends.
