He is survived by : his wife Sherry Bowman; his daughters, Tracie Howard (Allen) and Jennifer Bowman (Tina); his grandchildren, Nick Howard and Bentlee Cooper Bowman Powers; his siblings, Patty Jo Waller, Allen Bowman, Alvin Bowman, Linda Lamb, Mary Farmer and Peggy Bowman; and his mother-in-law Jeanette McNeely. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
